Policies
What to know before you book. Your therapist goes over draping and pressure again at every visit.
Undressing and draping
On the mat you stay clothed, in loose clothes. On the table you are covered by a sheet the whole time, and only the part we are working on is uncovered; it is covered again when we move on. Undress only as far as you are comfortable.
Pressure, consent and stopping
Before we start we ask about pressure and any area to leave alone. Tell us at any time to go lighter or firmer. You can say no to any stretch, and you can pause, change position or end the session whenever you like, for any reason. We stop right away.
When to ask your doctor first
If you are pregnant, have had recent surgery or an injury, or are under a doctor's care for something that affects how you move, ask your doctor or midwife before you book, and tell your therapist when you arrive. We do not diagnose.
Booking and deposits
Book online or by phone. A card number holds every booking. The 120-minute mat session also takes a deposit, which goes toward your session, and you see the amount before you confirm.
Canceling and running late
Please give us 24 hours to cancel or move a session. If you are ill, tell us and we will move it. A late arrival shortens the session so the next visit still starts on time.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss a session without telling us, the held time is charged as shown when you booked, and any deposit is kept. Call us if something went wrong.
Children and companions
Massage here is for adults, 18 and over. A companion may wait in the front room, but children cannot come into the session rooms.
Oils, scents and allergies
Mat sessions use no oil. Table sessions use an unscented oil unless you ask for a scent, and we can tell you every ingredient we use. Tell us about a nut, fragrance or herb allergy when you book.
Redos and refunds
If a session was not right, tell us within a week and we will look at it together.
Tipping
Tipping is welcome and never expected. You can add it when you pay, or hand it to your therapist.
